To all drivers
Now that you are able to apply for a new licence or renewal of your licence on the internet, various administration procedures have been updated to support this process. Please note the following:
- If you require a restrictor with your licence application/renewal please include payment for the restrictor with your request. Midget/Rookie restrictors are $20, Leopard/Rotax restrictors are $25 and are available from your club licencing officer.
- Payment for your licence by credit card is not available in Tasmania.
- Any information you may receive about the new licencing system (or AKA identity card) where the “State Office’’ is mentioned, please remember that for Tasmania that means our State Licencing Officer.
- Payment for a licence renewal must be received by the State Licencing Officer before the application will be processed.
- Applications/renewals and upgrades cannot be done at a race meeting. Temporary licences are no longer issued for renewals.
- Renewal reminders can and will be emailed to drivers but please don’t rely on this. It is your responsibility to ensure you are licenced and a financial member of your club.
- Applications cannot be processed for drivers who have not supplied a photo to the State Licencing Officer.
