Little Legends April 3^rd 2005

The Daniel Johnson Memorial, featuring the Little Legends presented by Toy Kingdom Wynyard, ran at the Highclere Kart Circuit, Tasmania on the weekend.

The field copped a drenching with heavy rain - quite ironic considering it's the area's driest first quarter since the 1960s.

The meeting is a feature event for Midgets and Rookies and run over five heats using a 401 less 10% point system over all races. Every competitor receives a prize just for competing.

Little Legends had run for a number of years when tragically the club lost one of their up and coming stars to Leukaemia. The event was thus renamed "The Toy Kingdom Wynyard Daniel Johnson Memorial Little Legends Feature" - a long name matched only by the long memories everyone has of Daniel.
